Registration

All registrations are completed through Swim Central and all swimmers need to be registered to train.

A full swim season runs from the 1st of July to the 30th of June each year and annual registration fees are:

• $232 for a swimmer 9+ years

• $131 for a swimmer 8 years or under

• $25 for a parent or guardian (SNT requirement for all swimmers under 18)

Registration fees for competitive swimmers joining after 1 January are:

• $158 for a swimmer 9+ years (no access to national or international events).

Registration fees include insurance coverage and membership of Swimming Northern Territory and Swimming Australia.

Sports vouchers cannot be used towards club registration fees.

Coaching Fees (per term)

Coaching fees are separate from club registration and are paid directly to Coach Jane via direct deposit at the beginning of each school term. Coaching fees are:

• $150 per term for Mini

• $170 per term for Bronze

• $190 per term for Silver

• $200 per term for Gold

Outstanding coaching fees will prevent swimmers from participating in training unless special arrangements have been made with the coach privately.

Sports vouchers can be used towards coaching fees.

Pool Entry

Pool entry is not included in registration or coaching fees and must be paid at the entrance kiosk of the pool on arrival for each training session.

As at July 1st 2025, entry costs are:

• Single Entry = $3.10 per child

• 30-Swim Card = $56 per child (= $1.87 per entry)

• 6-Month Pass = $169 per child

• 12-Month Pass = $313 per child

Competition Fees

When you enter a competition there is usually a fee per race which is set by the host club, or by Swimming NT, and can be anywhere from $5 to $15 depending on the meet.

Any relay race entries, where the swimmer is swimming in a NSC relay team, are paid for by Nightcliff Swimming Club.

Pool entry is free for competitions.
